Sunny Bins D.J’s regularly rove their solar powered sound systems playing music at events around Sydney like Bondi Pavilion’s Festival of the Winds and South American music festivals, Parramatta council events, Sydney Festival, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority’s ‘Village Bizarre’ and Australia day events, Chinese New Year and Western Sydney Universities orientation week celebrations.
As D.J’s who present music on the street we celebrate Australia’s cultural diversity by specialising in traditional and electronic world music, exotica, tropical, electro-swing, surf, Arabic, Latin from Brazilian Baile Funk to Big Band Cumbia, gypsy and Balkan Beats, Afro-Beat, Celtic, Cinematic, live Electronica and more.
D.J’s Mashy P and Vapor featured in this film D.J and play live using smart phone apps, the Theremin type gesture controlled app they were using is called “Airvox”. The app uses the iphone camera to assign movements to control oscillators.
