The Famous Sydney Park Kiosk BinThe Sydney Park Kiosk bought their Sunny Bin way back in 2011–2012, and it’s been pumping tunes ever since — over 13 years of faithful outdoor service. It’s also a very convenient maintenance gig: the Kiosk sits just across the road from the Sunny Bins studio in St Peters, so on morning dog walking missions it gets serviced and upgraded in exchange for the occasional free coffee. The bin has truly stood the test of time — sun, rain, and even the enthusiastic attention of local dogs. Despite several “No Wee!” stickers placed thoughtfully at dog-eye level, the resident canines have persisted. Ironically, their efforts seem to have varnished the subwoofer, providing a mysterious layer of “organic weatherproofing.”In November 2025, the trusty Kiosk Bin received a new lithium battery upgrade, making it lighter, longer-lasting, and better than ever. The Kiosk crew — who have impeccable taste — now stream music via Bluetooth straight from the kitchen to the Bin, soundtracking Sydney Park’s steady stream of joggers, cyclists, and caffeine-fueled dog owners.Of course, there’s always someone who mistakes it for an actual bin. We’ve lost a few amps to rogue lattes over the years, but she soldiers on.Ask anyone from the Inner West about Sunny Bins and you’ll hear it:“Oh yeah — like the one at Sydney Park Kiosk!”Check out more Sunny Bins stories at the all new upgraded website sunnybins.com… See MoreSee Less
