A Sound System in a wheelie bin,”what a load of rubbish”, I hear you say, not so?, maybe you didn’t, anyway they are more like a whole load of fun.
In 2023 Sunny Bins are cranking, with Covid well behind us now the great outdoors awaits with the ever growing Sunny Sound System.
Sunny Bins can be a single bin or a a medium sized sound system run by a trailer with Solar Panels for the roof. Parramatta Lanes festival ran from 5-10pm, 4 nights in a row with the trailers solar roof recharging the batteries in the day for the next nights performance. As well as the main system pictured here, we had a roving DJ taking music around the nearby lanes. Stay tuned for the video of Parramatta Lanes out soon.

The Sunny Skip Sound System SSSS has had a busy few years, it was part of the Parramatta lanes wall of sound in October 2023, it launched 5 years ago at the Invasion Day rally in 2018. The mobile sound system did all the Invasion Day rallies up to 2023 and a single Sunny Bin blasted Treaty at the YES campaign walk in Sydney in September 2023. The SSSS along with the Solar Trailer has extra power to run a small stage, band apparatus and a cinema, it rents out with operator from $500 or less for environmental and social justice protest events. The unit can also me a mobile music workshop and recording studio.

The bins can be easily rolled into position in a variety of locations and used to amplify music or voice through a microphone or a live musical performance. Our new Sunny Buddy sound system developed since 2015 is a smaller version of our big models, it can easily fit in any car. At $750 they are affordable and are a handy versatile piece of equipment.
